Employment Law Attorney: advisory, prevention and litigation in Aix-en-Provence and Paris

Employment law is a demanding and constantly evolving field, central to the relationship between employers and employees. Anticipating risks, managing sensitive situations, securing managerial decisions and building a compliant, healthy work environment all require responsive and rigorous legal support.

Based in Aix-en-Provence and present part of the week in Paris (8th arrondissement), I work alongside business leaders, HR directors, managers and executives to deliver concrete solutions tailored to operational realities. Consultations can be held via videoconference or in our offices in Aix-en-Provence or Paris.

My approach combines strategy and pragmatism to support your organisation at every stage of the employment relationship: hiring, day-to-day management, restructuring, risk prevention, conflict management and employment litigation.

I assist French and international companies — in French or English — with all their employment law and human resources issues.

I also support executives and senior executives, whether French or expatriates in France, in both French and English, particularly to help them secure their employment rights, address HR-related matters or navigate the negotiation or termination of their employment contract.

Employment contracts and hiring

Securing the employment relationship starts from the moment of hiring. Choosing the right contract (fixed-term, permanent, part-time, apprenticeship, etc.) and drafting its clauses properly are essential to prevent future disputes. I assist employers with drafting, reviewing and negotiating employment contracts that comply with labour law, collective agreements and the specific needs of the company.
I also advise on hiring procedures, probation periods, job offers, sensitive clauses (mobility, non-compete, variable pay, etc.) and issues related to the digitisation of employment contracts.

Negotiated termination & dismissal

Termination of an employment contract is a delicate stage that requires careful support to avoid any legal risk. Whether the termination is initiated by the employer or mutually agreed, each situation must be analysed with precision.
I assist with the implementation and validation of individual mutually agreed terminations, the management of dismissal procedures for personal reasons (poor performance, misconduct, incapacity) or economic grounds, as well as negotiated exit strategies. I ensure strict compliance with deadlines, the accuracy of the documents provided to the employee, and the control of the risk of employment tribunal claims.

Harassment, incapacity, disciplinary actions

Managing sensitive situations (moral or sexual harassment, workplace distress, sick leave, workplace accidents, etc.) requires both swift legal action and strict procedural compliance. I assist employers in implementing prevention measures, handling internal alerts and conducting internal investigations when necessary.
In cases of medical incapacity, I help you follow the legal procedure (occupational health physician’s opinion, redeployment search, termination for incapacity, etc.) while avoiding common mistakes that lead to liability. I also handle all disciplinary matters: warnings, suspensions, reprimands, pre-disciplinary hearings and sanction notifications.

Representation before the French Labour Court (Prud’hommes)

In the event of litigation, I represent you before the Labour Courts in Aix-en-Provence, Paris and throughout France. I handle case analysis, drafting of procedural documents, file preparation and the defence of your interests at the hearing.
My approach to employment litigation is strategic: I assess risks from the outset, propose amicable solutions when appropriate, and provide a rigorous defence when judicial proceedings are initiated. I support you at every stage of the dispute, ensuring clear communication and precise case management.
